Defect Quick Start

  • Defect wins through resource loops: either low-cost chain turns or long-fight Orb control.
  • Start with dependable defense and draw before committing to Claw or Orb as your main line.
  • For Claw builds, prioritize draw and recursion so damage cards can be replayed consistently.
  • For Orb builds, balance channel tools and orb slots so each turn reliably produces value.

Defect Decks

The Defect's gameplay revolves around Channel and Evoke for elemental Orbs, but with new layers of mechanical complexity and deck-thinning capabilities.

The fan favorite Claw decks will also be making their grand return.
